Made from durable ABS, this product features an IP44 waterproof rating for lasting strength season after season. When using solar power, place the unit outdoors in an area that receives 6 to 8 hours of sunlight. Charge the product for 12 hours prior to use for solar power or 6 hours prior to using the USB cable. Each side features a PIR motion sensor which will activate the deterrents when an animal walks past (within 13 to 32 ft). This device uses a combination of ultrasonic sound, an alarm, and flashing lights to repel animals. It features two working modes. One mode uses flashing lights, an alarm sound and flashing lights in tandem to deter most birds and animals. The second mode uses only ultrasonic sound and flashing lights to deter mainly land animals. This solar-powered ultrasonic animal repeller can be used as a freestanding unit or the stake can be attached to use it in the ground. The in-ground height can be altered by choosing whether or not to omit the middle pole section.
