General Fountain FAQ's
Distilled water will help prevent mineral buildup, as well as reduce algae growth, but it is not required to use distilled water.
Generally, our fountains are capable of resisting wind, but if your area experiences severe wind conditions your fountain could be knocked over. You can prevent damage to your fountain by moving it indoors or into a sheltered area during inclement weather. If your fountain is too large to be moved, remove the lighter portions of the fountain that could be blown away and store them indoors until conditions are less windy.
You should store the fountain in a dry, covered space during the winter season, especially if your area experiences freezing temperatures. Before storing your fountain for the season, drain it and allow it to dry completely. If your fountain is too large to move, place a protective cover over it. Yes, the fountain wires and lights are designed to be submerged in water. The only part that should NOT be exposed to water is the adapter that plugs into an outlet.
There is no power switch for the lights, but for select models, the lights can be disconnected from the pump/power source to turn them off.
Electric & Tabletop Fountains
Our products are not tested on animals, so we do not recommend using your fountain as a main water source for furry friends.
Our electric fountains have cords that are typically around 6 feet long.
Select models can be converted to solar power by adding a solar panel kit. To determine if this is an option for your fountain and choose the correct kit, please give us a call at 833-982-1977 for assistance.
Solar-Powered Fountains
This is determined by the length of the cord that connects the solar panel to the fountain pumps and lights. Generally, our solar fountains feature cords that are approximately 16 feet long. Additional 16-foot cords can also be purchased if you require more length.
Yes, in order for the fountain to function there must be direct sunlight hitting the panel.
Solar fountain batteries last approximately 4 to 6 hours before they need to be recharged.
No, the lights will only turn on at night when light is no longer detected on the solar panel. Plus, the panel must be turned on and a battery charge is required.

Fire Pits
You should not place wood or gas fire pits on top of wood or composite deck boards without a protective surface made of fire-resistant material. Yes, you can put sand in the bottom of wood-burning fire pits.
For safety reasons, wood-burning fire pits should never be used underneath a covered porch or patio.

Heaters
Mushroom-style propane heaters are designed for outdoor use only and should be placed a minimum of 50" away from walls, ceilings, and other structures. Forced air propane heaters can be used in garages or construction sites providing there is enough ventilation provided. Please see the assembly instructions for full details.

Both the propane and electric space heaters have automatic shutoff features.

No. As long as you hang them properly, hammocks do very little damage to trees. To further reduce the risk of harming your trees, choose two trees that are sturdy and mature and use our tree straps or drill eye hooks into the tree to hang your hammock.
Generally, the amount of space required to hang your outdoor hammock is about two feet greater than the total length of your hammock (when measured from end loop to end loop). For example, if your hammock is 13 feet long, then you should place it in a location that has at least 15 feet of open space for hanging. Your hammock should also be hung at a 30-degree angle.

Any hammocks with a spreader bar will not fit in a washing machine. To clean these hammocks, use a mild soap and damp cloth to spot clean stains. Thoroughly rinse the hammock and hang it to dry. Mayan and Brazilian hammocks can be placed in a mesh net laundry bag and washed using a gentle/delicate cycle and a mild detergent. You can also wash these hammocks by hand. Hang to dry.

We recommend storing our patio sets indoors or in a cool, dry sheltered area, like a garden shed, during inclement weather. If you live in a humid climate, your wood patio set should be stored indoors when not in use to protect against swelling which can cause the wood to warp. Covering the set while in storage and when the set is not being used is also recommended.

Each glass gazing globe will have a slightly different look because they are hand painted. Also, the color may vary slightly from product images due to differences in the light sources (e.g. sun, fluorescent, incandescent) monitor display settings, and individual perception.
The hole allows water to drain out rather than pool with the birdseed. Some seed will fall out through the hole as you fill the feeder initially but will stop once there is enough birdseed inside.

Unfortunately, no we do not have replacement keys. Each key is uniquely designed for the safe so no replacement keys are available. Because of this, it is important to keep them in a safe space in case you need to access the safe without the code.

Use of an extension cord is not recommended. Directly connect the refrigerator to an electrical outlet.
Before connecting the unit to a power source, let is stand upright for at least 24 hours.

We intend to ship your order as soon as possible. Most items ship the same business day if you place your order by 2:00 CST or the next business day if placed after that time.

Shipping is free when the order is sent to one of the 48 adjoining US states located on the continent of North America. This does not include AK, HI, or international locations.
Your order’s arrival date depends on a variety of factors including: your location, the type of shipping selected, and the carrier used to deliver the order. If standard ground shipping was chosen, your order should arrive within 2 to 7 business days. If your order is going to be delivered outside the contiguous 48 states, it should arrive within 4 to 10 business days. Yes, most items will have an option for you to upgrade the shipping at your expense. Remember not to count weekends in your 2 or 3 days as most carriers will not deliver expedited packages on weekends.
Typically you will be charged a brokerage charge for shipping to Canada. We are not responsible for any brokerage charges on any packages. Those charges come from a combination of Canadian Customs and the carrier such as UPS and FedEx. We cannot control these costs as they are not charges that Sunnydaze Decor charge. We only charge you the shipping costs from us to you.
UPS, FedEx, and USPS are the carriers that deliver most of our products. If you place a large volume order or purchase a large fountain (over 150 lbs), your order may be delivered on an LTL/Common Carrier pallet.
A pre-order is an order placed for an item that is not currently in stock. Pre-orders are shipped once the inventory is available.
Payment is collected at the time the pre-order is placed.
Yes. After you make the first installment payment at checkout, you will be required to continue installment payments until the balance is paid in full, regardless if the order shipped yet or not.
A "Less Than Truckload" or LTL order is an order where a single unit is shipped on a pallet and is delivered by a semi-truck. This method is typically used to deliver exceptionally large or heavy items like courtyard fountains. If you order an item that requires LTL delivery, the carrier will contact you and schedule a 4-hour window for delivery. These deliveries will be dropped off curbside only and require a signature after inspection.
Our 1-year limited warranty covers any defects in workmanship or material. During your warranty period, we will replace any necessary parts or the entire product if it is proven to be defective for no extra charge.
The following conditions or instances are not covered under our warranty:
- Inadequate care and/or neglect
- Environment and/or natural elements
- Immersion in water, unless specified
- Improper installation/storage and/or maintenance
Our Sunnydaze Decor warranty is void if your product has been damaged by accident, misuse, negligence, improper installation, and/or modifications. This includes any and/or all defects that are caused from freezing water damage, hard water damage, failure to keep the product clean, and free of harmful additives such as bleach, chlorine, etc., that affects the finish or any parts.
Also, our 1-year warranty does not cover any additional charges or installation, removal, disposal, or consequential damage associated with any warranty claim.
To register for a warranty, please locate your order number and fill out the form at this link. Your order number can be found within the order confirmation emails with an "SD-" prefix.

To open a claim, you need to provide proof of purchase with the purchase date and photos of the defective product. These are required to help us determine the actual cause of the defect and for future quality control on our merchandise. Contact us at customerservice@sunnydazedecor.com with your photos and issue. Warranty claims usually take 3-5 business days to process.
Returns should be made within 30 days of purchase according to your item receipt. The item must be in its original condition and packaging (the exception to this rule is any purchase made between November 1st through December 31st. These purchases are eligible for return until January 31st providing the item is unused.)
You can have the original payment method refunded or (if your item was damaged or proven defective) we will send you a replacement item.
Please follow these simple steps to return an item (please note: if your order arrived damaged or defective, we will offer a replacement or full refund, but you do need to send back the original item):
- Contact us at customerservice@sunnydazedecor.com or 833-982-1977 to receive return authorization. A return address will be emailed to you.
- Carefully package your product in the original packaging with all instructions and parts. If you received a packing slip, please enclose that as well. If not, please put a note in the box with your name, address, and order number. We are not responsible for any lost or damaged shipments back to our warehouse so make sure you keep your tracking number you receive from the carrier.
- Ship the item back to the address given in the return authorization using an insured shipping carrier. Be sure to insure your item for the purchase price of the product. Sunnydaze Decor is not responsible for any damages or losses incurred in return shipping. If damages occur in return shipping, you are responsible and must file a claim with the carrier you chose. Please note: If the item is damaged during return shipping and you did not insure the package, you will not receive a refund from Sunnydaze Decor or the carrier you selected.
If you purchased a large item that was shipped via LTL/common carrier, the item must be inspected before you accept the delivery. If there is obvious damage, please refuse the shipment and contact us as soon as possible at 833-982-1977.
Upon receipt of the return, it can take up to 48 business hours to process the return and issue a refund. Most financial institutions will process the funds to your account within 3-5 business days, however refunds going back to PayPal, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay can take up to 7-10 business days. If you purchased your item using a gift certificate or a portion of a gift certificate, your return will be credited back to you in that form. There will be no cash returned for purchases made using a gift certificate.
We encourage you to contact us immediately by phone or email to request an order cancellation. Orders placed on business days before 2 PM CST will ship that same day. We make every effort to cancel an order before it ships. If the order has already left our facility, we will reach out to the carrier and request that the package be brought back to us, however we cannot guarantee that the carrier will be able to return the order to our facility. If a request to cancel an order is not successful, our team will assist you with a prepaid return label to send the order back for a refund.
Items shipped via UPS, FedEx, or USPS must be opened as soon as possible once received. Inspect all the items from your order to check for damages, defects, or missing parts. If the package appears damaged, we ask that you still open the box and inspect the unit for any issues.
